Atlanta Athletic Club, established in 1898, is a private country club located in Johns Creek, Georgia, a northern suburb of Atlanta. The club's origins trace back to a downtown Atlanta building, expanding its athletic offerings with a golf course built on its East Lake property in 1904. Architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. is credited with designing a course at the club. Historically, the club also hired athletic director John Heisman in 1908.
Great place for community events! We attended the International Festival at Atlanta Athletic Club and had such a wonderful experience. Beautiful venue, well organized, and a fun atmosphere for families and friends.
We went there for a gala. Their staff was very attentive. The food was very good (I had salmon) and I normally don't like gala food. The atmosphere was fantastic even without the extra stuff the event hosts provided. I really think this is a top tier venue
Beautiful and challenging course. Clubhouse is well designed and staff are top notch.
