Privacy Policy

Effective Thursday, August 13, 2026. Last updated Monday, September 21, 2026 (added passwordless sign-in, the saved bucket list, and the essential sign-in cookie).

This policy explains what Found Fairways (Younger Twin LLC, doing business as Found Fairways) collects when you use foundfairways.com, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little, we don't know who you are, and we don't sell your data.

What we collect

• An anonymous visitor id. The first time you visit, we generate a random id and store it in your browser's local storage (this is not a cookie, and it isn't shared with anyone). It lets us count visitors and understand how a single visit moves through the Site, without knowing who you are.
• Usage activity. Which listings were shown, opened, and clicked through; how you sort and filter the catalog; and which page you go to on a host site. We use this to see what's useful and to improve our listings.
• Where you arrived from. The channel that referred you (for example a search engine or a social network), recorded once per visit. We do not store precise location, and we do not track you across other websites.
• Basic server logs. Standard technical data (like IP address and browser type) that web servers record for security and reliability, kept only as long as needed.

What we do NOT collect

You don't need an account to browse, and we don't collect your name, address, or any payment details — we never handle a bid, registration, donation, or payment. All of that happens on the host site (Charitybuzz, GolfStatus, a club or charity page), under their privacy policies. We only receive contact details and preferences if you choose to give them to us (see below).

If you sign in (your account and bucket list)

Signing in is optional and passwordless. You can browse, filter, and save a bucket list without ever signing in (an anonymous bucket list lives only in your browser). If you choose to sign in so your list follows you across devices:

• We identify your account by your email address only — there is no password. You enter your email, we send a one-time sign-in link, and clicking it signs you in.
• We store the courses you save to your bucket list, associated with your email, so we can show the same list on your phone and laptop. That's it — no browsing history is tied to your identity.
• A single, essential sign-in cookie (ff_sess) is set only after you sign in. It keeps you signed in and is used for nothing else — it is not an advertising or tracking cookie and is not shared with anyone. Signing out (or clearing your site data) removes it.
• You can sign out anytime, and you can ask us to delete your account and saved list by emailing [email protected].

If you subscribe for tailored opportunities

If you sign up to receive opportunities, you choose what to share and how we reach you:

• Your email, an optional phone number, and your preferences — regions, course and cause interests, price range, and how often you want to hear from us.
• We use these only to send the tailored opportunities you asked for and to let you manage your preferences. We do not sell or rent your information.
• Email: every message has an unsubscribe link, honored promptly, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act.
• Text messages: we text you only if you expressly opt in, and only with your consent on record. Reply STOP to opt out anytime, HELP for help; message and data rates may apply. Consenting to texts is never a condition of anything.
• No passwords. We don't make you create one — to manage your preferences we send a secure, one-time link by email or text, so there's nothing to remember or to steal.
• You can update, delete, or unsubscribe at any time via the link in any message or by emailing [email protected].

Cookies and analytics

For browsing and analytics we use browser local storage only, as described above — no advertising or tracking cookies. The one cookie we set is a single, strictly necessary sign-in cookie (ff_sess), and only if you choose to sign in — it keeps you signed in and does nothing else (see "If you sign in" above). If we later add analytics or measurement tools, we'll update this policy to name them and explain your choices before they go live.

Advertising and sponsorships

Found Fairways is ad-supported and may show sponsored placements and native advertising. Today these are sold and served directly by us — they do not set advertising cookies, build a profile of you, or track you across other websites, and sponsored placements are always labeled. If we later work with ad networks or measurement partners that collect data or use cookies/pixels, we will (a) update this policy to name them, (b) provide any legally required notice and opt-out — including a "Your Privacy Choices" control — and (c) treat any such use of your data as a "sale" or "share" under California law and honor your right to opt out, before those partners go live.

We don't sell your data

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share anonymous, aggregated figures (for example "1,200 people viewed this listing").

Your choices and rights

You can clear the anonymous id at any time by clearing your browser's site data. If you're a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you rights to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — rights we honor even though we don't sell or share it. To make a request, email [email protected]. Because our data is anonymous, we may be unable to link it to you, but we'll help where we can.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Third-party sites

Our listings link to sites we don't control. Their privacy practices are their own — please read their policies.

Security and retention

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we hold, and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll revise the "Effective" date and post the changes here.
