Takedown & Content Removal

Found Fairways describes publicly listed charitable golf events and identifies the clubs and charities involved. We use names, logos, and facts under nominative fair use, and we imply no affiliation with or endorsement by anyone we mention.
We'd rather be a good partner than win an argument. If you're a club, a charity, a host site, or any rights holder and you want something removed, we'll take it down — promptly and without debate.
If you want a listing, name, logo, or image removed
Email [email protected] with:
- Your name and your role (for example "General Manager, [Club]" or "the copyright owner of this photo").
- A link to the page on our Site, and what specifically you want removed (a whole listing, a logo, a photo, a description).
- A short statement that you're authorized to make the request.
We aim to remove or resolve it within [X] business days, usually much sooner. You don't need to send a formal legal notice — a plain email is enough.
Copyright complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, you may send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) to our designated agent. Please include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
- Identification of the material on the Site you want removed, with enough detail (a URL) for us to find it.
- Your contact information (address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

We remove or disable infringing material we're properly notified of, and we may remove content at our discretion. If you believe your material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice with the information required by § 512(g). We terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
Our standing practices
Independent of any request, we: attribute events to their host and link out rather than reproduce them; use our own descriptions and only images we have the right to use; and keep no listing live past its event. If you spot something that slipped through, tell us and we'll fix it.
