Wampanoag Country Club is a private golf club situated in West Hartford, Connecticut. Designed by the renowned Donald Ross, its course was established in the early 1920s and quickly earned recognition as one of his masterpieces. The club notably hosted a PGA Tour-level event, the Connecticut Open, not long after its inception. A new clubhouse was inaugurated in the 1950s, marking a new era for the club, which has continued to host significant state championships such as the Connecticut Amateur and the Connecticut Women's Open into the 21st century.
