About Westchester Country Club (West)

Private club in Rye/Harrison, NY, whose West Course was designed by Walter Travis in 1922 with trademark small greens and aggressive bunkering. Best known as the longtime host of the PGA Tour's Westchester Classic (1967-2007). A strong championship course, more notable for tournament history than current national ranking.
